The Twin Swords of Loriel was a set of two bastard swords used by Loriel, a Paladin of Forseti, during the War of Heroes. Loriel used the swords to destroy the dragon heroes of Thariaknes, dragon goddess. The Twin Swords protected Loriel from the many magical powers of the draconic forces, and they saved her many times from the breath of the evil dragons. These swords also allowed her to defeat several Heroes of Borac, one of them a mage that tried to summon several fire demons. Loriel stopped him by shoving the swords into the fire pit which was immediately extinguished.

The War of Heroes was of course fought by the Heroes of the gods, only 3 of which supposedly survived all those centuries ago. It is said that the blades of these Heroes held their power, and that any being that takes the blade from a Hero gains the power that is lost by the Hero. Several scholars back this up with the fact that the Triad carry the blades of their predecessors.
